As for asset management, the new DxO PhotoLibrary offer image search, selection, sorting, and display features. Similar to Google’s auto-complete function (though probably less hilarious), DxO’s Library tool will automatically suggest relevant searches as you type. You can sort images by metadata, file name, date and star ratings.
DxO PhotoLab 2 also adds supports DCP color profiles, ensuring that it can offer color renderings that are close to third-party programs (notably Adobe Lightroom and Camera RAW) and color calibration solutions from X-Rite and others.
PhotoLab 2 is sold in two versions: a full-featured ELITE edition for $199 and a lighter Essentials version for $129.
