Taxfix , Europe’s leading mobile tax platform, today announced the acquisition of the Stuttgart start-up Steuerbot , which successfully sells a chat-based tax app in Germany. With this step, Taxfix is further expanding its market leadership in this area and accelerating its expansion in the German market. After the completion of the takeover, Steuerbot will be continued as a subsidiary of Taxfix AG. Both companies will continue to offer their products independently and complementarily in the future in order to better meet customer needs.
With over five million downloads in Germany, Italy and Spain, Taxfix is Europe’s leading mobile tax platform. The fintech recently reached the milestone of over two billion euros in tax refunds for its customers.

After the takeover , Steuerbot will be continued by the founders and managing directors Marc Neumann and Jochen Schöllig.
