Plus-size retailer Navabi has launched a talent fund for start-ups, designers and creatives that specifically address issues in the plus-size industry.
The firm has made its first grant of £5,000 to Too Bold Too Brave, which creates films to challenge perceptions in plus-size fashion. The company has created a short film called Summer in the City and will create three more fashion films with the money.
Navabi said it is looking to support new fashion labels or businesses that “make a tangible, positive contribution to the representation of plus-size women”.
