Kreos's funds

about Kreos has committed more than $1.2 billion to over 280 portfolio companies from its first three funds and is currently providing growth debt out of Kreos IV, which had its first close in December 2011 with €120 million ($160 million) of commitments from top-tier investors.

  • Kreos's first fund committed some €160 million in 80 transactions across 10 countries during the first five years of operation
  • Kreos II was launched in 2005 and has since committed over €200 million in 85 transactions across 12 countries
  • Kreos III was launched in 2007 and has committed over €500 million to over 100 companies across 14 countries
  • Kreos IV was launched in December 2011 and expects to be able to commit over €500m to high-growth companies over the coming years

Kreos manages third party institutional capital from more than a dozen different investors. Kreos's traditional long-term private equity fund structure enables it to work as a long-term partner with its Limited Partners, which assures portfolio companies of Kreos's long term commitment and presence as a leader in the pan-European growth debt financing market.
