Kreos's funds

aboutKreos has so far committed more than $1 billion to its portfolio companies and is currently providing financing out of Kreos III, which launched at the beginning of 2007 and out of which Kreos plans to invest some €500 million.

  • Under the name European Venture Partners, the Kreos team committed some €160 million in 80 transactions across 10 countries during the first five years of operation.
  • Kreos II was launched in 2005 and has committed over €200m in 85 transactions across 12 countries. 
  • Kreos III was launched in 2007 and has already committed more than €350 million to some 85 companies across 12 countries and will continue to provide significant amounts of financing over the coming years.

Kreos manages third party institutional money from a dozen different investors, including Paul Capital, Merrill Lynch, PineBridge Investments (formerly AIG), HarbourVest Partners, Access Capital Partners, SVB Financial Group (Silicon Valley Bank), Deutsche Bank and the European Investment Fund.

Kreos's traditional long-term private equity fund structure enables it to work as a long-term partner with no requirements for immediate liquidity for its investors.
